Summer Break Ramblings....

School has been out for almost a week now. The kid's and I have been busy having fun, enjoying friends, and also continuing to learn. The time is zipping on by! Cole graduated from the D.A.R.E. program at his school--

Cole is now getting ready for the 6th grade! Some ups and downs this year with the new school and changes but we are hoping for the best next year. My main focus is to keep his Happy Spirit and never let that get crushed if I can help it ;) Even though school is out... I don't let my kids stop learning. This year I made up Educational Binders for both kids and also a friend of Cole's. I searched the internet for the best Teacher resources and printed out 100's of worksheets, Writing Prompts, Brain Teasers...anything to keep their minds bright and not b.o.r.e.d. They each had an awards ceremony Addison was awarded "Most likely to become a Professional Athlete" along with other acedemic awards. She can pass that football almost further than her dad! Cole received an award for completing the D.A.R.E. program and also an Essay Character Counts. --->

I am soo happy to have Cole and Addison home and enjoy the time with them both. No big vaca planned yet but we are working on some camping trips here and there. The pool has been a blessing and they have been in and out of it each and every day almost since March. Hope my family and friends are doing well, blessings to you all! Happy Summer!
